The Education 4.0 community was born out of a number of clear pain points from donors, ministries of education and employment, corporations and NGOs across the Middle East North Africa (“MENA”) region: - a large number of duplicating, data-poor and disappointingly unscalable initiatives - difficulty in understanding the vast amount of public information on funded programs from a range of donors and ministries - limited market intelligence in order for donors to accurately design interventions - difficulties for Ministries scoping out the right projects that scale to countrywide initiatives - time wasted by corporations and NGOs trying to find the right partners to make programs sustainable and impactful Education 4.0 community was launched to help solve these above issues by tracking investments, donations, loans, projects, pilots, interventions and deals, initially across the MENA Edtech ecosystem, via a “Crunchbase” type system.
