Cityscape Design Group is an association of architects, designers and planners working towards developing solutions that reflect the culture, community and geographic region specific to each project. We approach design as a direct response to a user’s needs and aspirations, the site context, topography, climate, regional materials and precedents. We at CSDG believe that efficient functionality is the essence of a design to be socially, culturally, financially and environmentally sustainable. But, we aim to design buildings which are not mere sustainable structures but a comprehensive experience for the users. We perceive a building as an integral part of the surrounding context as well as a cosmos enclosing the dynamics and aspirations of its users. CSDG looks at design as a constantly evolving process driven by our unique research oriented approach where we take the existing theories a step further and seek the growth of new ideologies. Design by evolution is guided by the ideology of design by challenging ourselves with a rational approach. We are Cityscape Design Group and we believe Architecture is not a profession but a way of life.
