The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is a regional non-profit institution that was established in 1972 as a specialized organization of the League of Arab States in the areas of education, scientific research, training and consultation. Over the last 45 years, AASTMT has expanded from its main headquarters in Alexandria to Cairo, Aswan, Port Said, Lattakia in Syria, and most recently in Smart Village in 6th of October Disctrict. AASTMT offers a wide range of internationally and regionally accredited postgraduate and undergraduate programs in a variety of disciplines such as Maritime Transport, Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Language and Communication, Computing and Information Technology, International Transport and Logistics as well as Fisheries Technology and Aquaculture.
