Barcode Essentials is an on-premise solution for managing fixed asset inventory targeting enterprises currently using Symantec Management Platform. It allows its users to work with assets anywhere using powerful asset scanning workflows and allowing data to be synchronised wirelessly in the field. All this can be done using an iOS application. It allows users to work with assets in the field using mobile barcode-based workflows using low-TCO / pre-existing iOS device fleets. This results in significant cost reductions for the customers.
