For nearly ten years, 3D RESEARCH has been a powerful combination of technological innovation and cultural dissemination, a bridge between a dynamic and enterprising academic reality, i.e. the University of Calabria, and one of the most vibrant sectors of Italian economy: Cultural Heritage. Since 2008, the young spin-off company of the University of Cosenza, born within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and founded by a small group of researchers with the aim of breaking through the separation wall between the academia and the labour market, has grown to become a dynamic and resourceful company. 35 years is the average age of the 14 currently employed members, 28 projectshave been undertaken so far, with than 20 partners and as many private individuals have chosen the expertise 3D Research for bringing innovation in the cultural sector by means of the latest technologies for computer graphics, virtual reality, augmented reality.
