Sending kids to YMCA Camp Eberhart gives them the opportunity to learn and grow in an extraordinary environment. Situated on 200 wooded acres with over a mile of shoreline on Corey Lake, Camp Eberhart has been a treasured destination for children and families for more than 110 years. The skills learned during their time at camp will be used throughout their lives and they will never forget the time they spend here. Camp Eberhart boasts one of the largest sailing programs in the country and offers additional activities such as archery, photography, astronomy, equestrian, riflery, canoeing, fishing, high ropes, land sports, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts, music, drama, and more. Inspired by their experiences at camp, our campers have become professional sailors, NASA employees, and even Olympic athletes! Which program is right for your child? Campers can choose from a variety of camps, including the traditional overnight Resident Camp, Astro Camp, Ranch Camp, Leadership Core, Service Crew, Staff-In-Training, and 3-Day Try-It Camp! Campers 9-years old and up can attend Astro Camp (one of the longest-running astronomy programs in the entire country) and Ranch Camp at Camp Eberhart. You can sign-up for astronomy and equestrian programs all summer long, but kids with true passion should sign-up for our specialty camps. Campers will still get to experience traditional camp activities just like everyone else; campfires, swimming, and of course, the opportunities to make lifelong friends! Our mission is to provide impactful outdoor experiences where campers learn new skills, gain independence, and grow as an individual.
