A.P.P.E.E.S. (Association Pour la Promotion de la création d'Entreprise dans l'Enseignement Supérieur et la recherche) is a non profit created in january 1998 which built a research-industry consortia to promote and create an academic equity crowdfunding portal, "In'Mart", a COB (now AMF, the French SEC) unregulated crowd equity plateform based on IBM Lotus "Knowledge Discovery System" : an open innovation, crowdsourcing, knowledge, skills, expertise, competences, pre-seeding, seeding and innovation management portal for entrepreneurship and innovative businesses creation within the academic and research sector (closed in 2004). The "Governance, Risk, Compliance" (code of conduct) of the equity crowdfunding portal was settled with the French VC association AFIC, the french asset management association AFG and the French financial regulatory authority previously COB now AMF and stills apply for capital investments in France. In'Mart creation and development was sponsored by IBM Lotus Software, Schneider Electric, EDF, France Telecom, EADS, ESIEA computer engineering school and a 500 000 € EU Commission 2001 SME's Access to Capital Program funding.
