The company commenced simultaneously with the release of its first book, Great, Grand & Famous Hotels. This book was developed from Fritz’s 20 years as a leading hotel professional and reflects his passion for the industry.In 2010, the name was changed to Arbon, after a small Swiss town on the shores of Lake Constance and in honour of the Swiss Heritage of Fritz Gubler and his wife Eliza. The name Great, Grand & Famous, however, still lives on through the Great, Grand & Famous series.
