The Fellowship Initiative (TFI) is a free all-inclusive program sponsored by J.P Morgan Chase that focuses on providing young men with the education, skills, and resources that contribute to greater economic mobility and college readiness. TFI is a three-year program that begins in a young man’s sophomore year of high school and continues until the end of their senior year. Upon completion of the program, students become TFI Alumni where they continue to receive services from partnered organizations to graduate college. TFI Fellow A young man currently in high school, undergoing the three year experience in TFI to successfully complete their education alongside with character development. A TFI Fellow has ample opportunities to learn life skills through tutoring, mentoring, and brotherhood. TFI Alumni A TFI fellow who has successfully completed the high school portion of the program and is now in college and/or in pursuit of their professional aspirations. TFI Alumni often come back to support current fellows in high school by sharing their previous experience in the program. TFI Ambassador Intern TFI alumni from Cohort III, who are currently college sophomores and have furthered their participation in the TFI program by facilitating sessions and developing their leadership skills. TFI Ambassador Interns make up 20% of their cohort who have been selected and have maintained their spot by sustaining participation in monthly check-ins and monthly college prep meetings.
