Building on Amideast’s mission, Amideast Education Abroad Programs in the MENA help develop mutual understanding through programs for young people to study the Middle East and North Africa both onsite and virtually, improve their Arabic language skills, and interact with the peoples and cultures of the region, especially local families, organizations, and students. Our programs help develop mutual understanding between peoples of the MENA region and students from US universities by providing study opportunities in the MENA region and virtual learning and exchange opportunities with the MENA region. Students interact with local university faculty members, students, host families, and other locals to develop intercultural and global competence.
