rezemo developed the first coffee capsule made from 100% biobased resources. The capsule itself mainly consists of wood from domestic and sustainably grown forests. In our newly developed process we embed the wood into a PLA matrix, a bio polymer based on plant starch. In addition, not only the wood comes from domestic sources, but the entire production of our capsule takes place in Southern Germany. The use of wood makes it possible to replace fossil plastics or aluminum in the growing market for coffee capsules. Our innovative capsule is filled only with high-quality coffee delicacies from traditional and regional roasting. Based on our unique know-how we also strive to develop other packaging solutions in oder to contribute to a sustainable future.
