Canada and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) enjoy a prosperous relationship. The Canada-UAE Business Council (CUBC) is the premier business-led organization facilitating greater bilateral trade and investment. We work to increase two-way trade and investment on behalf of companies and in collaboration with our partners in both countries. Our aim is to achieve the shared goal of enhanced economic prosperity. The CUBC was the joint vision of the foreign ministers of Canada and the UAE. It was established in 2013 as a key organisation responsible for advancing the prosperity pillar of the bilateral relationship. Today, the CUBC is led by the private sectors of both countries and has the highest levels of access to government and business leaders, making it a key actor in shaping policy, promoting the relationship, and facilitating transactions. Our mission is to facilitate long-term relationships and strategic initiatives that will improve overall bilateral market accessibility and will increase diverse trade and investment opportunities between Canada and the UAE.
