Formed in 1999, FIRST is made up of over 40 long established, independently owned, professional travel businesses that have offices throughout New Zealand. Locally owned and operated, the collective volume of FIRST members is in excess of $500 million, enabling FIRST Head Office to negotiate fantastic tier one deals with all major suppliers both in New Zealand, and around the world. FIRST is a key partner of all major airlines, including Air New Zealand, Qantas & Singapore Airlines and also has deep relationships with a number of global players, such as Expedia. These relationships, combined with our enormous experience and knowledge of the industry, enables our members to provide our customers with the right travel solutions at exceptional prices. Membership of FIRST is not open to anyone. Our membership selection criteria, and subsequent approval process is very rigorous, and all of our existing members take a keen interest in who is being invited to join our group.
