Human Research Standards Organization (HRSO) is a Standards Development Organization (SDO) engaged in the production of voluntary standards concerning research in humans through the media of standards committees and the consensus process. Of particular focus are standards for human research that create a safe environment for research participants and respect their rights and welfare when they volunteer for research studies. HRSO was accredited by the Standards Council of Canada in February 2020.
