The Chattanooga Ballet School offers a full curriculum of ballet classes as well as modern, contemporary, and tap classes for ages 3 to adult in an environment that fosters teamwork, healthy life choices, and promotes self-esteem. A professional company was founded in 1980. Its first production of The Nutcracker was held in 1988 at the historic Tivoli Theatre and has become one of the region’s most beloved and attended performing arts events.
