In order to promote the intellectual, developmental and human values of the Saudi Arabia, the decision of the Council of Ministers was adopted (220), on 7/7/1433 AH, with the approval of the organization of the National Centre for Social Studies and under article 1 of Supreme Resolution: "The National Centre for Social Studies, with independent legal status, is directly associated with the Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, based in Riyadh".. The Centre monitors, studies and analyses social and family-related phenomena in a variety of different ways. The Center provides strategies and recommendations to government agencies using scientific findings, statistics, and outputs. The findings are then used in the t formulation of policies, plans and decisions on different aspects of social development in order to achieve sustainable solutions. The Centre seeks to have a clear role in the development of policies and strategies that contribute to the protection of the quality of Saudi society, the building of the national economy and the achievement of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
