The name 'De Vallenger' is French and derives from Caroline William's (Business Owner) Grandfather. It was an old family name, which had history dating back to Louis IX - where someone in the de Vallenger family was thought to be the King's personal physician. As a name that carried beauty and was derived from her family - it appeared the perfect fit and could be easily taken and used internationally.
