Torchwin was founded by Dr. Andrew Chen. Andrew previously was a partner with BlueRun Ventures and Shanghai Vstone Investments, and earlier on worked at McKinsey & Company as a management consultant. Andrew led investments into many well known internet and technology companies including ChipOn, 7x Networks, Amlogic (IPO: 688099), PPTV (acquired by Suning Group), and Pica (acquired by Chinasoft). Torchwin has built a portfolio of leading startups such as ChipOn and 7x Networks, and currently looks for early and growth stage investment opportunities in areas of AIoT, big data, and cloud software.
