AJC Legal Services is a trade name of the Cuticchia Law Firm, PLLC. It was started in 2010 by Dr. A. James Cuticchia. Dr. Cuticchia holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Georgia, and a JD degree, with high honors, from North Carolina Central University. He is a member of the NC Bar and practices in North Carolina. He also is a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney and also practices before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Our specialty is "Entrepreneurial Law." This was the founding focus of the firm. The goal is help individuals and companies procure financing, understand valuation, execute executive and board compensation agreements, and protect University researchers' interests in their Intellectual Property. The firm also has a practice area in both Intellectual Property and Patents.. A large component of the "Entrepreneurial Law" focus, we can handle most aspects of intellectual property protection. As a U.S. Registered Patent Attorney, Dr. Cuticchia may draft and prosecute patents and trademarks in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also available to provide opinions on intellectual property strategies.
