Webel DQE Animation Academy is a project of the Department of IT&E, Govt. of West Bengal launched by Webel. Webel Animation Academy is a joint initiative of Webel – a 100% Government of West Bengal Undertaking and DQ Entertainment (International) Ltd., the largest animation studio in Asia. The academy was launched in June’04 by WEBEL – West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation Ltd. to bridge the gap between demand and supply of professionally trained quality animation professionals for the animation industry.
