GiiLD
www.giild.comDon't Train; Learn! Giild is a web-based learning platform that replaces boring courses with personalized challenges for deeper and faster learning. Learners create their own "pathway" through a Challenge because tasks and steps are not predetermined. Users can even see past learners' Pathways through Challenges to accelerate their own learning. Enterprises and Schools can use GiiLD Groups to create cohorts of learners, offering private challenges that are unique to the enterprise or classroom. GiiLD is a great way to pre-screen candidates, offer enablement opportunities, measure employees against their own growth plan, and offer opportunities for promotion. GiiLD is a startup spawned from the R&D department of a large IT Consulting company. We designed and created GiiLD after years of failures in classic "training." In fact, we came to the conclusion that training simply doesn't work. So we took a step back, thought about the outcome we wanted, and designed an approach to enablement that got us there. The key? Don't Train; LEARN. Once we figured out that Learning needs to be the priority over training, we were able to innovate. Welcome to GiiLD.
