EDG Consulting is a privately owned Australian company providing design, engineering, advice and geosciences services for a range of market sectors. Our four Directors and Senior Principals, Garth Powell, Ian Shipway, Greg Hackney and Adam Lander have a combined 130+ years of experience in the engineering industry. In August 2020 we celebrate our 5th year of operation, during which time we have grown to 25 staff, including six staff who joined as graduates. Our company philosophy is to have an engaged group of like-minded people undertaking excellent engineering in a collegiate atmosphere. Our intention is to spread ownership in the business widely amongst employees to engage our people to deliver the best outcomes and solutions for clients. We have a social conscience and aim to contribute to both charities and the engineering industry. We will use our experience in design and construction to understand your objectives and needs, and then will work with you to develop practical and cost effective designs that meet your requirements. We provide a broad range of services including engineering design services for both temporary and permanent works and construction phase services. Our services include full design, drawings and specification for structures made of, or interacting with the earth. In addition, we provide engineering advice, forensic investigations and expert opinion and will undertake geotechnical investigation and data collection, development and interpretation of geological and geotechnical models, to support our design and advice.
