Students' Association for Alumni Relations or SAAR is a student body of IIT Patna, established with an aim to promote and foster mutually beneficial interaction between the alumni and the IIT Patna fraternity. It is also an attempt to strengthen old ties severed with the passage of time while encouraging the alumni to take an active and abiding interest in the working and progress of the institute so as to contribute or give back towards the enhancement of the social utility of their alma mater.
