One of Solon's principals interviews every prospective candidate who walks through our door. We check the references of each candidate. We know, from experience, that there is great talent among the pool of temp employees. But that experience has also taught us that some who present themselves for temp employment do not meet basic standards. It is our job to find our clients the best the industry has to offer. Our experience leaves us uniquely qualified for this task. We treat those who work for us with unsentimentalized dignity. Those employees who do well by us and by our clients get treated extremely well. We work to keep pay rates for such employees as high as possible. However, unproductive and uncooperative employees not only exact a toll on our clients, they destroy the morale of their fellow employees. We take our responsibility to our clients and our employees seriously and terminate the assignment of employees whose performance or conduct does not merit continued service.
