Which is adjacent to the completed 2x300MW (GMEC) coal-fired power plant. The Engineering, Procurement and Construction agreements have been executed for GNPD. GMEC Plant; completed, owned and operated by GNPower. In September 2016, NTP completed to procure additional GNPD 600MW units on same site. GNPK Project; GNPower is constructing four coal fired power units with total planned capacity 552 MW at Lanao del Norte. GNPD is designed to meet the more restrictive of Philippine and World Bank emissions standards while selling power to off-takers under long-term power purchase agreements, as well as into the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market. Coal will be sourced under long-term off-take agreements with several Indonesian suppliers. Luzon power market ranks as one of the most attractive in Asia. Its regulatory framework is investor-friendly and transparent, low current per capita electricity consumption combined with robust economic growth should ensure moderate to high demand growth. When it comes online, GNPD is projected to set a new standard as the lowest marginal operating cost of all coal projects on the grid. GNPower Co. Power Stations & Projects will provide significant benefits to local communities by reducing electricity costs, as well as providing jobs & substantial economic stimulus.
