Mercy Community is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of programs and services including services, support and programs for families, young people and individuals, NDIS disability support services, residential based aged care and homecare, child protection, and foster and kinship care across Queensland, northern NSW and the Northern Territory. As a Catholic ministry we find inspiration in the Gospel, the charism of Mercy, the life of Catherine McAuley and the traditions of the Sisters of Mercy. Our mission is to support and inspire people in need to live healthy, connected lives within inclusive communities. Mercy Community values the human dignity of every person and is committed to enhancing the quality of life and wellbeing of those who access our services, believing that through actions of merciful love, Mercy is given and received. Our culture reflects the ethos of the Sisters of Mercy and promotes service, humility, diversity, transparency, open accountability, collaboration and cooperation, flexibility and adaptability, fearlessness and growth. We employ over 1200 people who work to deliver outcomes that provide meaningful and positive change in the lives of the more than 10, 000 people we support. We promote personal and professional development by creating opportunities within our flexible programs and workplace; ensuring a happy, healthy and motivated workforce.
