(OSHDP) is the outcome of dedication of a number of developers and individuals who relentlessly sought means to the provision of a vibrant, efficient, productive and responsive housing sector through the delivery of decent and affordable housing, and always committed to address the country’s housing need. OSHDP is presently the only and leading private sector organization with national membership of real estate developers primarily enaged in socialized and economic housing. OSHDP’s Vision-Mission: “Growth Through Dignified, Decent and Affordable Housing” OSHDP’s Achievements (among others): Proposals for regular/periodic price ceiling adjustments for socialized and economic housing packages; Active review of housing and subdivision design standards the IRR of BP 220, PD 957 and RA 7279 and the Fire Code of 2009; Member of the consultative group for streamlining procedures and guidelines for land registration and National Informal Settlements Upgrading Strategy (NISUS); 2 of OSHDP Advisers sit as Private Sector Representatives in the HUDCC Council; Advocate of major legislations pertaining to the housing industry. e.g. amendments to RA 7279 or the Urban Development and Housing Act, RA 9646 or the Real Estate Service Act (RESA); National Land Use Act (NLUA); Active member of the Pag-IBIG Fund’s Technical Working Group on housing finance; Strong representation with the Board of Investments for inclusion of mass housing under the 2013 and 2017 Investment Priorities Plans (IPP); and Strengthened linkages among key shelter agencies and other government institution.
