Jeunesse Youth Empowerment Initiative (JYEI) is a youth-led and youth-focused organisation registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria on 31 July 2017 as a non-governmental and non-profit organisation. JYEI seeks to propel development by building the capacity of the youth as catalyst of development; improving patriotism and humanity through education and orientation of young people; promoting, protecting and defending the rights of youth; setting standards, advocating for policies and supporting actions that improve the qualities and standards of education. The vision of JYEI is a developed society driven by intellectually sound, morally sane, humane and hardworking young people. The mission of JYEI is to facilitate societal development through youth education, orientation, empowerment and rights advocacy. JYEI core values are: Integrity, gender equity, non-discrimination, non-partisanship and non-governmental
