A BIRD CANNOT FLY WITH A SINGLE WING. In different places people claim to "raise a child," we believe in "nurturing a child." Even if you are indifferent a child will grow eventually but will not be nurtured if you do not invest the right efforts. We believe nurturing has two dimensions. The first one teaches us to carry humanistic virtues and moral values, which is the true meaning of teaching. The second dimension produces broad minded, erudite and talented individuals, which is the true meaning of education. These two dimensions are like the two wings of a bird. The importance of the first dimension is realized when a child is left alone with the choice to choose between right and wrong and he/she chooses the good instead of bad. Only then is the child nurtured in this sense. However, in the same way as being only decent does not complete one, being only highly educated and talented is not enough either. Moreover, lack of moral values in an accomplished person is even menacing, as it often leads to tyranny.
