MRTSA, Medical Rescue Team South Authority provides emergency medical services to six communities in the South Hills of Pittsburgh: Baldwin Township, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Green Tree, Mt. Lebanon & Whitehall. MRTSA is a non-profit 501(c)(3), municipal authority with two representatives from each community making up the board of directors. MRTSA responds to approximately 10,000 calls per year and provides 24/7 advanced life support. Our staff is committed to not to only providing excellent emergency medical services, but strives to reach above and beyond in every facet of pre-hospital care.
