Whichever of our three principle made-to-measure ‘makes’ you choose you can be sure that your quality tailored suit will reflect the traditional Italian craftsmanship, flair and attention to detail that will have been lavished on its construction. With all three makes of quality tailored suit a variety of manufacturing processes are done entirely by hand including button attachment, underside of collar points, lining attachment and flower loop. And in the case of our top-of-the-range 'Handmade' make, your made-to-measure suit will be the result of painstaking hand-sewn construction and finishing. In order to look good and fit well a made-to-measure suit's chest section that molds itself to the wearer's chest is essential. Our Traditional make uses conventional Italian construction with a number of canvas layers. Our Traditional Full Canvas make is based on the same traditional Italian construction as our Traditional and Handmade designs. In the Full Canvas made-to-measure suit, the whole front piece consists of canvas interwoven with horsehair. The Handmade again benefits from traditional Italian construction, with the front piece made in exactly the same way as the Full Canvas make. The ‘Handmade’ made-to-measure suit is distinguished with additional hand-crafted features.
