ART:DIS (Singapore) Ltd, formerly known as Very Special Arts Singapore, is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to creating learning and livelihood opportunities for persons with disabilities in the arts. Started in 1993 by Ambassador-at-Large Professor Tommy Koh, ART:DIS organises art programmes, projects, collaborations, exhibitions and performances for persons with disabilities to reach for excellence and be relevant in the future. ART:DIS further establishes pathways in the arts for persons with disabilities to express themselves, gain confidence and be part of a community. In FY21/22, ART:DIS supported over 450 students/artists across 19 programmes, conducted over 100 classes and 45 exhibitions, performances and projects, generated upwards of $87,000 of income for our students/artists and reached over 196,740 individuals. Together with our partners and allies, join us in realising an inclusive Singapore – one where persons with disabilities are enabled to pursue their aspirations, empowered to achieve their fullest potential and are engaged as integral members of society.
