Since the inception of Elgabaly Architects, the firm has grown into an established multidisciplinary full-service design firm, consistently recognized for its future-proof designs and exceptional service. Its founder and current Chairman and CEO, Dr. Tamer El Gabaly, established the firm in Cairo in 1996 and soon after completed Elgabaly’s first winning scheme for a residential compound in Cairo. In the early 2000s, Elgabaly was best known for their innovative residential schemes in Cairo, creating iconic buildings that would later become urban landmarks such as the spectacular landmark of Heliopolis ‘Tivoli Dome’ that would later receive a Guinness World Record title for the ‘Largest food court in the world’ - cementing Elgabaly’s presence as a major player in the regional architectural scene, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa Region.
