COPE24
www.cope24.comCOPE24 is a non-profit 501(c)(3) status organization with a profound mission in making parenting skills a national priority. We firmly believe that equipping our youth with a skill set needed to be better parents will lead to healthier families, and in turn, those healthier families lead to stronger communities, cities, states, and aide in the health of our nation. COPE24 is rooted in the overall well-being of the family and strives to improve the health of our families by making this type of education a priority. Founded by Rene Howitt in 2009, COPE24 focuses on making parenting skills a critical priority and emphasizes on seeking proactive responses. Rene recognizes that making the families of tomorrow stronger ensures the safety of childhood; in doing so, Rene challenges school systems to reprioritize the educational needs of students. Upon speaking to more than 23,000 students at over 250 schools and universities, Rene reflected on these students’ stories of abuse, neglect, foster care, and lack of stability in their lives which led to the founding of COPE24 [Changing Our Parenting Experience]. COPE24 believes educating and providing youth with coping skillsets can break the cycle of abuse in both current and future generations. — Rene is also the author of many books and programs including, ‘Family. It’s Complicated. (A Bible Study of ACE’s in the book of Genesis)’, ‘Whose Best Interest - A Fight to Save Two American Kids’, and ‘Fosterhood: Let’s Explore’ (a children’s book). Books and programs are available for preview and direct purchase in our “Shop” section of this page or at: https://cope24.com/shop As a persistent advocate for the well-being of children and education of healthy families, Rene also dedicates a significant portion of my time speaking in middle school and high school classrooms across the nation, as well as providing presentations and keynote speaking appearances at churches, universities, teacher, conferences, and advocacy events.
