Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national construction industry trade association representing nearly 22,000 chapter members. Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically, profitably and for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. We are small family firms, specialty organizations, as well as medium sized companies and large corporations. We are local, regional and we are national with 70 ABC chapters representing over 22,000 firms. While our member sizes and specialties vary, we are united in the belief that America was built on free market principles and that all work should be awarded to solely on the basis of the best value proposition offered (i.e. on the merits of the organization’s offer).
