Savona Consulting is a business and technology firm combining local expertise with national and international reach. Companies utilize consultants, when implementing ERP, in one of two ways. The first method has the company hiring an outside systems integrator (Big Box, one size fits all) on a fixed-bid or project-based agreement. The second method has the company take responsibility for the project and augments their existing staff with skilled consultants on a time and materials basis. There are reasons for both methods and we believe both methods have their place. Savona Consulting believes that, in most situations, a company is much better off maintaining control of their project and using outside consultants to supplement internal resources.
