Founded in April 2018, The Girls' Room, Incorporated (TGR) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit mentoring and media education program comprised of college educated women who seek to empower, encourage, and educate adolescent girls in inner-city Detroit to cultivate their growth as phenomenal women. We aim to mentor girls about self and social awareness, character building, and implementing change through the understanding and use of media and communications tools.
