My focus has always been to a) improve the success of my clients and b) to be able to spend more time with my family and c) time fishing. I am also an avid musky fisherman. My passion for the musky is because it is an elusive gnarly fish with an attitude, many times the musky will follow the bait to the boat only to fade away into the depths or sit just out of reach leaving the angler frustrated and confused as to what happened; what did I do wrong? One methodf converting follows is a tactic called the figure 8, as the lure approaches, the angler drives the rod tip into the water and sweeps the lure into a large figure 8 at the side of the boat; simultaneously changing direction and speed. Done correctly, the figure 8 often times triggers an exciting, violent strike - and hook up! Finally, the trophy is caught, photos taken and, in my case, released to swim again. Once understood and employed, this manuever will work repeatedly, with dramatic results!! My customers are like the angler: leaders seeing opportunities only to watch them fade away.
