We began rearranging Group operations to reach a more streamlined and comprehensive organisation, and thus I took a role in sparring and developing the Group as a whole, including account management expertise. Valley Bros. Ltd, as the name states, is an enterprise and a Group holding company owned by the Laakso (Valley in English) brothers, Jari and Pete, which dates back to 1994 when Avalon Oy first started. Valley Bros. bases its business around developing its subsidiaries. These subsidiaries currently include Avalon Oy, specialized in modern marketing communications, and Joiqucom Oy, the company behind the world’s most easy to use project management and communications SaaS application. In addition, we partner NTRNZ Media Oy for 30% share and Hubit Oy for 50% share. Moreover, Valley Bros. is 100% focused on growth and as such, constantly looking to invest in new startups or already existing businesses, especially if the business is active in digitalisation, marketing communications, mobile or such operations. Digitalisation is one of our time’s greatest opportunities and a catalyst for developing businesses and operations. To me, digital has become a “routine” through 25 years of experience, with a proven track record in digital marketing and e.g. automating my own businesses’ operations, resulting in significant cost savings in administration and transforming those savings to better grow and develop the businesses. We are now focusing on providing this expertise for businesses, leaders, boards and executive committees.
