The foundation supports charitable projects in mental health, improving children's lives and business education in memory of Trevor Abbott. Trevor Abbott was a wonderful father, successful businessman and philanthropist. He took his own life at the age of 47 years. His five children (the youngest of whom was five when he died) set up this foundation to try and help break the taboo of mental health by talking openly about the loss of their father. They hope to help those battling depression realise that there is help available from wonderful charities and health organisations. And also to help those who lose a loved one to suicide to know that they are not alone in their experience of loss and that maybe being open about it will help them heal. The foundation also supports improving children's lives with a focus on projects aiding child bereavement and in particular for children who have lost a parent or sibling by suicide.
