At GNCDC - we are community of business professionals – bringing City, Federal & local assist programs, incentive information, education, training resources and funding assistance to local small businesses. Our critical mission is to foster economic business grow and development - thus creating community career opportunities and cultivating economic and cultural uplifting of our community. GNCDC - Greater Northwest Chicago Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Primary funding comes from City of Chicago's Department of Planning & Development funding agreement - allowing us to market relevant programs and incentives to small businesses within our service area*. GNCDC has served our business community since 1977. The GNCDC service area* spans 3 major industrial corridors - Pulaski, Grand-Armitage and Northwest Industrial Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts Companies and individuals are encouraged to join GNCDC to support our mission of business and industrial retention, outreach and the programs and incentives we market on behalf of Assist Agencies and the City of Chicago. We are available to help you with accessing and applying. GNCDC hosts workshops, networking events and outings. Our headquarters, on-site meetings, seminars and weekly e-News are all part of our outreach. The GNCDC Executive Board and staff assist and educate small businesses about grants, loans, tax incentives and rebates which help defray the cost of doing business. Special emphasis is placed on workforce training and hiring assistance. Local real estate brokers help populate vacant commercial properties .
