• ADC, LLC is a security consulting firm that provides comprehensive security risk assessments; detailed remediation solutions; implementation support; training and beginning-to-end project management. • The idea for the company was based on my desire to create a platform to utilize my son’s naval experience after his separation from the United States Navy. I came to understand what remarkable people the members of the armed forces were: their commitment to duty and country; the exemplary skills they acquired and their disciplined demeanor. I also became aware that there was a real need to help U.S. military veterans utilize these extraordinary skill sets as they transitioned into the civilian world. • I formed a Leadership Team that integrated my experience with that of senior Navy personnel, junior Navy personnel and an accomplished business executive. • The Team developed a well-defined Mission Statement, a clear Vision Statement and a strong set of Value Statements that were used to create an effective organization. • The Team designed the ADC Business Process that was consistent with the company’s Mission, Vision and Value Statements. • Utilized the ADC Business Process to conduct a comprehensive security risk assessment that provided client with valuable information and insights to help improve overall security at their facility. This activity also validated the effectiveness of the ADC Business Process that had been developed. • Worked with graphic artist; web-design professionals and marketing professionals to help create the ADC brand including company color scheme, logo design, marketing materials and dedicated website (www.adcsix.com). Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I needed to suspend the operation of ADC, as I felt that at that time, I was unable to provide the continued focus and resources that were needed to succeed.
