Centre for Advanced Studies is a Government funded autonomous institute of higher studies, in-campus Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The institution is an initiative to provide state of art research facilities in emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Automation, 3D Printing, NEMS/MEMS devices, Antenna Design, Device Shielding, Machine-Brain interface, Health-care Systems, Photovoltaics, Batteries and Supercapacitors, Gas Sensing, Online Tool Health Monitoring, Cyber Security, Robotics, IoT and 5G applications. The endeavour of the institute is to act as a melting pot for different emerging technologies and attract young and enthusiastic minds from all across the country & globe to work together for an advance, safe, healthy and secure future. The institute infrastructure is best in state, well equipped with all modern facilities including RFID access, Biometric based attendance, automatic gas sensing etc. The institute houses Google Code Laboratory, Nano-Characterization Facility, 3D Printing Laboratory, Sensors Laboratory, Industrial Automation and Robotics Laboratory, Material Synthesis Laboratory, High-End Computing Laboratory, Linux Laboratory, Design and Simulation Laboratory. Some of the facilities under construction are Micro and Nano Fabrication Facility, Advanced Imaging and Characterisation facility, Battery Testing Unit etc.
