Over the last 23 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work at some of London’s most fun, innovative and award winning agencies culminating in developing a skill-set that straddles both the CFO and COO roles. With experience working across advertising, PR, design, film production, events and content marketing businesses, my background is finance, operations and people management. With a focus on creating a collaborative, transparent and inclusive approach, my main objective throughout my career has been to dispel the stigma that’s associated with finance and operational ‘bods’ (always a conversation killer) and to demonstrate the obvious link between a heightened commercial awareness and an improved P&L. By providing the ‘human’ interface between business founders, the client account handlers and the operational departments, in addition to my passion for helping businesses achieve not only their financial targets, but also their core people values, I have helped a multitude of organisations create highly efficient, streamlined and profitable businesses that have seen growth of between 25% - 40% EBITDA. I believe in treating everybody as equals regardless of role and my experience has taught me that if you can create a platform for development and learning in conjunction with allowing people to be who they are and work to their strengths whilst supporting them on their weaknesses, a business will ultimately reap the rewards both in the short and long term.
