Sandcastle Beach Resort is a vacation cottage resort located in Oscoda, Michigan on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. The unique configuration of the resort affords every cottage/suite a view of the magnificent Great Lake. The sugary sand beach is located right outside your cottage/suite door. We feature five two-bedroom, one bath, full kitchen cottages (sleep six max), three single room suites (sleep four max), one double suite with full kitchen (sleeps six max), and a main house with three bedrooms, one and a half baths, full kitchen, and breezeway entry (sleeps ten max). We have basketball, sand volleyball, playset with swings, monkey bars, teeter totter, shuffleboard court, among other games and activities on our beachfront. Downtown Oscoda is only a couple miles to the north, and Tawas is seven miles to our south. The mighty Ausable river empties into Lake Huron in Oscoda, so kayaking, tubing, and canoeing are readily available nearby. Several lighthouses are within a short driving distance, in addition to multiple public golf courses, an authentic paddleboat cruise, and numerous shops and restaurants to experience. The Manistee-Huron National forest is within minutes, and the river scenic byway is well known in the state for it's natural beauty and abundance of hiking, biking, and ATV trails.
