In Nitroterra Technology, we set out to improve the soil system on our planet. We will revolutionize the use of organic fertilizers in the farming industry. Our proprietary technology helps produce effective microorganisms-based fertilizers in a controlled and energy efficient manner. Our know-how in mixing various strains allows us to adjust them to particular climate, soil condition and crop requirements. We will enable farmers globally to grow more nutrient-dense food more efficiently and decrease the use of synthetic fertilizers. This will lay foundations for an improved soil system, clearer waterways and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Our proprietary production technology of continuous fermentation allows us to produce biofertilizers in efficient way, consistent quality and at scale. Our product and service offering combines analytics with technology and technical support for production of customised organic fertilizers. We will create mixtures of effective microorganisms (“EM”) specifically catering to farmers’ needs and enable them to mass produce such organic fertilizers on-site, as and when needed. This will replace significant portion of synthetic fertilizers they currently use, saving them up to 30% of related costs based on our research. Application of targeted EM mixtures enhances transfer of nutrients into crops and their resilience to sudden climate changes, improves soil texture and accelerates decomposition of crop residues and certain toxic inorganic compounds. However, they have not seen wider adoption in large-scale farming yet, mainly due to contamination-prone and costly batch production and low fertilizing effects due to lacking customization.
