Hitachi Metals Automotive Components USA, LLC (HMAC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Metals America. HMAC has three locations; a casting foundry located in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania; a manufacturing location in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania and an additional manufacturing plant in Effingham, Illinois. HMAC specializes in casting, precision machining and assembly for the OEM automotive industry. HMAC's product mix consists of suspension components, exhaust manifolds, and brackets. HMAC's customer base includes: Ford, Chrysler, General Motors, BMW, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Honda. As an automotive supplier, HMAC must meet stringent Quality, Environmental and Business objectives. To demonstrate the ongoing performance towards these objectives, HMAC has been certified to ISO 14001, ISO/TS 16949 and Ford Q1 status.
