In 1981 Rosta Werk SA was established. In 1985 Rosta Werk Switzerland withdrew from South-Africa. In 1985 Oscillating Systems was founded and appointed Rosta Werk agent. In 1986 Rosta Werk A.G awarded a license to manufacture Rosta products to manufacture Rosta products to Oscillating Systems. Oscillating Systems developed products for use in the mining industry utilizing the Neidhart tensioning system. In 1995 Oscillating Systems terminated its relationship with Rosta and continued to market its range of mine related products with its own developed technology. In 2008 OST-Africa became part of the BMG group . Today Oscillating Systems Technology trades as OST-Africa (Pty) Ltd
