At STFS, we explore innovative energy conversion processes for rapidly attaining carbon neutrality. To this end, we develop numerical models for advanced simulations on high-performance computers. Our aim is to gain a fundamental understanding of carbon-free and carbon-neutral substitutes for fossil fuels, which can help build a more sustainable future, bridging the gap between basic research and technical applications.
