Gippsland Community Leadership Program

www.gclp.asn.au

Established in 1996, the Gippsland Community Leadership Program is one of Australia’s longest running and regionally grounded community leadership programs, acting as a unique platform for the development and growth of existing and emerging leaders within the Gippsland region. GCLP is about exposing Gippsland leaders to the history, present and future possibilities of Gippsland while enhancing participant’s skillsets, enabling them to return to their Gippsland community as better, willing and able leaders. Over the past 20 years, the Gippsland Community Leadership Program has delivered a graduate base of over 600 diverse, talented, and passionate community leaders. Today, while some have moved beyond the region, many are still living within Gippsland and have become significant leaders at federal, state and local government levels. Graduates of GCLP can also be identified in current or former leadership roles in business, industry, and community organisations including the arts, environmental and sporting associations throughout the region.
